After searching the tree farm for the perfect tree, we took a break and restarted our search from a sitting position. Walking sure is tiring. There was too much heat and not enough precipitation this summer to keep many good trees around.
Most of the trees were yellow on one side with a huge hole on the other. We settled on this shorter tree that had a big hole on one side, a smaller hole on the other, and less yellow than the other trees. We even let Elijah cut it down....just kidding.
