Light of Mine

Elijah loves getting mail, and he loves reading High Five magazine. Right now, his favorite pages are finding something silly and finding the hidden pictures.

Elijah and Eva are playing blocks together. What says 'kid' more than that? Elijah ended up giving Eva the red and green blocks so he could have all the blue and yellow ones (his favorite colors).

Eva girl is brushing her teeth...we're up to 4 now. The two bottom ones have been in for a while. Her newest one is the top center one on the right...just started showing yesterday.

I had Elijah stack his blocks on the top shelf so Eva wouldn't knock them down.

For school one day this week, we made a Fruit Loop necklace to look like a rainbow for St. Patrick's day. He loved wearing his snack around the house!

We also painted with green and made new binoculars. He put robot stickers all over them. I think we'll go outside on a 'spring hunt' later to search for signs of spring. I've already seen a Robin and red buds on our trees.

Good morning! We watch one episode of Curious George every morning right after waking up. During our school time, I read a devotional with Elijah. Today's verse was John 3:16, and I was trying to explain eternal life means that we get to go to heaven and live with Jesus forever. Then Elijah said, "Well, I'm not going to die even. You and Dada can go there [heaven], and I'll take care of Eva girl. But I can't really change her diaper. Then, you can come back down."

I love being able to dress the kids in T-shirts and no socks. It's so much easier than winter wear.

Here's Eva standing on her shopping basket and showing us her new milk and cookies shirt. If only we had this for her birthday party last year...oh well.

What a nice day for lunch outside. It was too sunny for Eva though. She had to finish her meal inside.

So cute! Eva says the following words frequently: Dada, Mama, 'Lijah, woof woof, roar, done/gone, ut-oh, ow, ba-oon (balloon) & milk. She also signs these words: more, all done/gone & please.

  1. Love seeing glimpses into everyday life. Great moments. Love seeing Elijah reading his magazine. Could not view the last picture/video for some reason.
