Eva Dresses Up

Necklace, paci, sunglasses, and tiara.

Football and helmet. She can say 'ball' and 'football.'

Red and black for church today...Palm Sunday.

Snack time! Eva had to sit down by her favorite brother.

Spidey Boo!

New Spidey pajamas! He was "posing"...which was actually waving his arms around and making silly faces.

Elijah and Eva girl were playing peek-a-boo through the shelves. These shelves are one of the best things in our house.

She Sits, He Jeeps

Eva currently prefers her entertainment table flipped upside down to play. She flips it rather aggressively, then crawls on it, rocks it, and stands on it.

Surprise, surprise! Eva's up in her shelf. She clears the shelf, grabs a couple toys, and climbs up into the shelf to play.

Elijah is learning about numbers while flipping through Daddy's Jeep magazine. He's matching the numbers in the list to the numbers that are labeling parts in the picture.

First Day of Spring

Wearing a dress and kitty jacket!

Elijah is writing all of his letters.

This puzzle is for ages 5+ and Elijah did it with minimal help from Mommy.

Bar graphs and Starburst jellybeans.

She sits on our shelves every day.

We did finger paints for flowers. Eva's are one of each hand and she 'drew' the stem and petals for the middle flower. Elijah's are one of each hand and we used a fork for the yellow dandelion.

Light of Mine

Elijah loves getting mail, and he loves reading High Five magazine. Right now, his favorite pages are finding something silly and finding the hidden pictures.

Elijah and Eva are playing blocks together. What says 'kid' more than that? Elijah ended up giving Eva the red and green blocks so he could have all the blue and yellow ones (his favorite colors).

Eva girl is brushing her teeth...we're up to 4 now. The two bottom ones have been in for a while. Her newest one is the top center one on the right...just started showing yesterday.

I had Elijah stack his blocks on the top shelf so Eva wouldn't knock them down.

For school one day this week, we made a Fruit Loop necklace to look like a rainbow for St. Patrick's day. He loved wearing his snack around the house!

We also painted with green and made new binoculars. He put robot stickers all over them. I think we'll go outside on a 'spring hunt' later to search for signs of spring. I've already seen a Robin and red buds on our trees.

Good morning! We watch one episode of Curious George every morning right after waking up. During our school time, I read a devotional with Elijah. Today's verse was John 3:16, and I was trying to explain eternal life means that we get to go to heaven and live with Jesus forever. Then Elijah said, "Well, I'm not going to die even. You and Dada can go there [heaven], and I'll take care of Eva girl. But I can't really change her diaper. Then, you can come back down."

I love being able to dress the kids in T-shirts and no socks. It's so much easier than winter wear.

Here's Eva standing on her shopping basket and showing us her new milk and cookies shirt. If only we had this for her birthday party last year...oh well.

What a nice day for lunch outside. It was too sunny for Eva though. She had to finish her meal inside.

So cute! Eva says the following words frequently: Dada, Mama, 'Lijah, woof woof, roar, done/gone, ut-oh, ow, ba-oon (balloon) & milk. She also signs these words: more, all done/gone & please.

Spring Forward

Kids do not understand time or time changes. Hope all goes well tomorrow.

Outside after church!

We even pulled out the highchair for Eva so we could all eat on the deck.

Toys and Toy

I rotate the kids' toys to keep the living room clutter lower. This mess is all of the toys. I let Eva check out everything while I decided which to flip in/out for spring. I decided to put away most of the blocks and keep out most of the balls.

Of course, while I have all the toys in the world out for Eva, she plays with toilet paper rolls.

Family movie night! Watching Big Hero 6. Elijah said he liked it a lot.

Pigtails and Basketball

First pigtails!

2nd pigtails! She kept taking out the one on the right.

The hair. The light saber. The huge basketball. All boy.
